McGee's Swimmin' Hole has been built entirely by volunteer contributions of labor and money. The area is on the north-west side of the lake, just beyond the dam. The objective was to keep the area as natural as possible. The fenced area has a nice pine needle base and the lake front is not muddy. Help was given to clean out the dead/fallen trees, branches, brush, etc. and cut some saplings to provide a somewhat open, but shaded and natural looking area. The area is sloped and easily accessible to the water.
